A group has submitted a petition to the Ministry of Justice and Information for Facebook
to be banned permanently in Nigeria.
The group which turned up at the ministry of justice with placards, accused Facebook of censoring comments on the platform even though they are making millions from the country.
The spokesperson of the group also alleged that his reach on the platform has been reduced, adding that the social media giant needs to be “spoken to in a language they understand”.
