They are busy working on their walking and language skills, as well as starting to do things themselves. They are obsessed with cause and effect and they love to interact and mimic others.
You don’t need a pile of toys. A baby learns and grows from simple daily activities like peeling a banana. Allow your baby plenty of hands-on and self-directed learning. Keep a few safe toys or kitchen utensils within your baby’s reach. And talk about everything.
Lastly, hold back when possible. Observe your baby without disrupting her play. This builds focus, independence, and allows you to appreciate your baby’s developmental milestones.
