Yve Arellano charged with domestic assault, battery

Days before Sunday’s cast reunion aired, 90 Day Fiance star Yvette “Yve” Arellano was accused of battery and assault by Albuquerque police.

Her husband, Mohamed Abdelhamed, cheated on her by sending her text messages, according to an update in the episode. The attorney for Yve denied that she was detained or that she had abused Mohamed.

PEOPLE reported that Yve, 48, was charged with battery and assault against a household member hours after the show aired. On August 15, police allegedly confronted her over domestic violence. According to a police report, a hearing is scheduled for September 6.

Dominique Enchinton, Yve’s agent, claimed that Mohammed had “falsified” the accusations and that they were “simply a ruse to keep him” in the country. According to Enchinton, “Yve was not detained on August 15 or any other day.” Yve never used abusive behavior toward Mohammed and merely wants to close this chapter of her life so she may move on.

After a season of ups and downs, Mohamed and Yve appeared to be a happy couple for the majority of the tell-all show. To marry Yve, Mohamed relocated from Egypt to New Mexico, where he gradually became accustomed to American culture. According to Entertainment Tonight, he learnt to accept that Yve could dress however she pleased and that she would not convert to Islam.

A sudden update caused that ideal picture to crumble. Mohamed is apparently conversing with another woman in leaked text exchanges. He acknowledged speaking with the woman after they met online. He stated she was “really nice” and they started talking like “friends.” Mohamed stated he told the woman he still loved his wife and begged her to stop texting him.

The messages’ screenshots appeared on social media. In one, Mohamed promises to “go to the attorney right after I receive the green card,” according to the woman. He says to her in one of their more flirtatious interactions, “I would just keep you in bed for days.” The woman responded, “I’m just kidding,” and then said, “No, please be serious.”

“I texted these women to let them know that I was married. Stop messaging me, please.” Mohamed informed the cameras from TLC. “I am aware of my error. I related the same incident to my wife and made a pledge not to let it happen again. She doesn’t deserve that, even though I really adore Yve.”

Yve said to the cameras that she overheard her husband and the lady having “inappropriate” phone calls and images. He spent his time focused on beginning other connections, engaged in behavior a married man should not be engaging in, she said. “You know, it’s quite shocking, raw, disappointing, saddening,” she added.

Yve thanked her followers on Monday for their encouragement and for sharing their personal stories of “infidelity, heartaches & pain” on her Instagram Story. “We can see that we are not alone. Why some people’s commitment isn’t a commitment “Yve kept talking. “There is a great deal of world-wide healing that needs to take place. Simply state that you don’t want to be exclusive so that others can decide for themselves.”

Mohamed expressed his desire to part ways with Yve respectfully in an Instagram Story post of his own. Many people have questioned why he hasn’t revealed his side of the story. “I was trying my best to leave my relationship with respect, that’s all,” he stated.

Yve and Mohamed encountered numerous problems on 90 Days, including their 23-year age difference and cultural barriers. Yve stated in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she had a “issue” with Mohamed’s hypocrisies, such as the fact that he adhered to his religion to the letter while still having an affair with her prior to their marriage. “I think you have to totally realize that maybe it’s a learning or developing thing, but yes, it does sort of raise the question of whether you’re using your faith to kind of carry out something or if that’s just controlling,” said the speaker. said Yve. “So that bothers me,” you say.
